Confirmation of focus

By scanning back and forth at near and far distances, the focus is when the sound is the loudest and the sparks are the largest. At this time, this distance should be followed. For cleaning, the energy is strongest

Depending on the focus used, the following is a reference

F400 focusing (generally the distance from the gun head to the plate is about 35-40 cm with the strongest energy)

F800 focusing (generally the distance from the gun head to the plate is about 65-75 cm with the strongest energy)

Gas usage instructions

Cleaning gas selection: air not less than 5 kg, filtered at level 3 or above, oil-free and water-free or use other inert gases.

When cleaning, please keep the distance from the gun head to the plate stable and keep the hand speed even.

Laser usage instructions

Laser protection requirements

Laser safety glasses should be selected based on the standard that they can shield the laser light within the entire wavelength range emitted by the laser. When operating laser equipment, please choose safety glasses appropriately based on the laser wavelength emitted by the laser equipment and ensure to wear them at all times. If the device is a laser tunable or Raman product, it will emit laser light beyond the normal output wavelength range of the device's laser, and corresponding safety protection must be implemented during protection.

General safety instructions

1. Specular reflection

The position of the laser output port may generate secondary laser beams and radiate outward at multiple angles. This phenomenon of divergent beams produced after the main beam of the laser is reflected on a plane is called specular reflection. Although the energy of the secondary laser beam is much smaller than that of the primary laser beam, this intensity may also cause damage to human eyes, skin or some material surfaces.

Warning:

● Since laser radiation is invisible, you must operate with extreme caution to avoid or reduce specular reflection.

2. Safety instructions for accessories

Photosensitive components integrated into laser-related optical accessories may be damaged by laser exposure, such as video cameras, photomultiplier tubes, and photodiodes. Pay attention to relevant device protection.

Warning:

● The output laser intensity of Chuangxin Laser MD-dual-wavelength direct semiconductor series laser is enough to melt metal, burn skin, clothing and paint, and ignite volatile substances such as alcohol, gasoline, ether, etc. Therefore, during operation and use, be sure to isolate flammable items around the laser.

3. Instructions for optical operation

It is strongly recommended that you read the following operating points before operating the laser:

(1) When the power is turned on, do not look directly into the laser light outlet;

(2) Avoid placing the laser and related optical output devices at the same level as the eyes;

(3) The laser output port must be equipped with a laser beam housing;

(4) Please make sure to remove the tail cap of the laser before turning on the laser, otherwise it will cause irreversible damage to the laser fiber output head;

(5) Reasonably select safety protective equipment according to the output power and wavelength requirements of the laser to ensure the safety of operators;

(6) The door of the space where the laser is placed must be equipped with interlock control, and a warning sign must be attached to limit the safe area for operating the laser;

(7) Do not use lasers in dark environments;

(8) It is strictly prohibited to turn on the laser without installing an optical coupling fiber or optical output connector;

(9) Please ensure that the laser is turned off and the power is disconnected before installing or removing the welding head or collimator;

(10) When performing debugging, calibration and focusing work, please perform it under low power output conditions. After debugging is completed, slowly increase the power to high power;

(11) If you do not strictly follow the instructions in this document to operate the equipment, the protective device and performance of the equipment may be weakened, and Chuangxin Laser will not provide warranty for this.

Notice:

● Generally, when the laser is in use, its optical path output head will be connected to a lens with an enhanced transmittance coating before emitting. If your laser's rear optical path has this kind of optical lens, please check the laser output before using the laser. Strictly inspect the first lens and rear lens to ensure that there is no dust or any other debris on the lens. Any attachment visible to the naked eye will cause serious damage to the lens, leading to burning of the laser or any subsequent optical path equipment.

● Please refer to the "Fiber Optic Connector Inspection and Cleaning Guide" to follow the lens cleaning inspection process.

● Please be careful of the scorching heat or molten metal particles that may be generated during laser welding operations.

● When debugging and calibrating the laser output, it is necessary to set the laser to detect the spot quality of the laser output via infrared under low power output conditions, and then gradually increase the output power.

Warning:

● Reasonably select safety protective equipment based on the output power and wavelength requirements of the laser.

● Do not look directly at the optical fiber or collimator, and make sure to always wear safety glasses during each operation.

4. Instructions for electrical operation

It is strongly recommended that you read the following operating points before operating the laser:

(1) Please ensure that the equipment shell is well grounded. Interruption at any point in the ground loop may cause personal injury;

Security Information

(2) For the power supply connected to the equipment, please be sure to confirm that the protective ground is connected before use;

(3) In order to reduce the risk of fire, when necessary, the line fuse can only be replaced with the same type and grade, and other fuses or materials cannot be used instead;

(4) Make sure that the input AC voltage of the laser is the normal AC mains voltage (three-phase 380VAC), and the wiring is correct. Any wrong wiring method may cause personal or equipment injury;

(5) This product has no parts, components or components that users need to repair by themselves, and all maintenance work must be completed by Chuangxin Laser professionals;

(6) Please do not remove the casing, disassemble or assemble the laser without authorization, or damage the relevant labels, as there is a risk of electric shock or burns;

(7) Any product that has been disassembled or assembled without permission will no longer enjoy warranty rights.

Warning:

● The input voltage of the laser is three-phase alternating current (220VAC), and there is a risk of electric shock. All associated cables and connections are potentially hazardous.

5. Laser operating environment requirements

To ensure a safe laser work area, a suitable enclosure should be used. This includes but is not limited to hazard prevention work such as laser safety signs and interlocking devices. The interaction between the laser and the work surface will produce gases, sparks and debris due to high temperatures, which may pose additional safety hazards. Corresponding operators need to undergo certain assessment and training, and be familiar with and master the conventional safety regulations for laser operation.

Please note that the output components should not be installed at eye level. Due to the interaction between laser and metal materials, high-intensity ultraviolet or visible light radiation will be generated. Please ensure that the laser is equipped with a protective cover to prevent radiation from causing damage to the eyes or other parts of the body.

It is recommended that you follow the following measures to extend the service life of the laser:

(1) Please ensure that the working area is properly ventilated and place the laser in a cabinet with temperature, humidity control and dust-proof functions. Do not expose the laser to high temperature and high humidity environments.

(2) Operating equipment at high temperatures will accelerate aging, increase current thresholds, and reduce laser sensitivity and conversion efficiency. If the equipment overheats, please stop using it and seek help from Max Laser.

Security Information

Notice:

● Please operate the device with caution to avoid accidental damage to the device.

● If the laser is placed in an environment below 0℃, be sure to add corresponding antifreeze liquid to the water cooler tank. If the machine is not used for a long time, be sure to drain the water in the inlet and outlet channels (it is recommended to use a high-pressure air gun) to prevent residual water from freezing and damaging the water supply components.

Water tank instructions

Laser-rust-removal-machine-25.jpg

1. Overview

This product is an industrial cooling device designed and manufactured for laser cutting, laser welding, laser marking, laser engraving and other equipment that uses laser processing. It can provide a cooling medium with stable temperature for the above application scenarios.

The chiller is composed of a compressor, a condenser, a throttling device (expansion valve or capillary tube), an evaporator and a water pump. Its working principle is that the water is cooled by the refrigeration system of the chiller, and the low-temperature cooling water is sent by the water pump. The cooling water takes away the heat, heats up, and flows back to the chiller. It is cooled again and then transported back to the equipment. In the refrigeration system of the chiller, the refrigerant in the evaporator coil vaporizes into steam by absorbing the heat of the return water. The compressor continuously extracts the generated steam from the evaporator and compresses it. The compressed high-temperature and high-pressure steam is After being sent to the condenser, it releases heat (the heat is removed by the fan) and condenses into a high-pressure liquid. After being decompressed by the throttling device, it enters the evaporator, vaporizes again, and absorbs the heat of the water. This cycle repeats over and over again. The user can use the thermostat to Set or observe the water temperature working status.

2. Appearance and component names

Laser-rust-removal-machine-27.jpg

Note: The above appearance and component names are only for one of the models. The appearance and component locations of different models will be slightly different.

3. Install

1. Open the package and check whether the machine is in good condition and whether the accessories are complete.

2. Please ensure that the working voltage of the water chiller is stable and normal.

Since refrigeration compressors are sensitive to power supply voltage, the normal working voltage of our company's standard products is 210~240V (110V model is 100~120V). If you really need a wider operating voltage range, you need to customize it separately.

3. Equipment installation conditions and requirements.

(1) It must be installed horizontally and cannot be tilted.

(2) When using the machine, please ensure that the casters are locked to prevent the machine from slipping during operation. The brake device is generally installed on the wheel sleeve or wheel surface, and can be stepped on by hand or foot. When pushing the machine, the wheel cannot rotate, but it can turn, which means the brake is correct.

(3) The air outlet on the top of the chiller must be at least 1.5m away from obstacles, and the air inlet on the side must be at least 1m away from obstacles (see the figure below).

(4) It must not be installed in harsh environments such as corrosive, flammable gases, dust, oil mist, conductive dust, high temperature and humidity, strong magnetic fields, direct sunlight, etc.

(5) Environmental requirements

Ambient temperature

Ambient temperature

Altitude

0~40 ℃

≤90%RH

≤3000m

Laser-rust-removal-machine-29.jpg

(6) Media requirements

Cooling media allowed for the chiller: purified water, distilled water, high￾purity water and other softened water. It is prohibited to use oily liquids, liquids containing solid particles, corrosive liquids, etc. Clean the filter element and replace the cooling water regularly (recommended about three months) to ensure the normal operation of the chiller.

When the ambient temperature is lower than 2℃ and the chiller is stored with water, antifreeze needs to be added to the water tank of the chiller. It is recommended to add antifreeze containing ethylene glycol and propylene glycol with a concentration of no more than 30%. After the temperature warms up, change back to pure water, distilled water and other media, let the chiller run for 30 minutes to remove the residual antifreeze, and then add new circulating water for use after emptying.

Laser-rust-removal-machine-30.jpg

4. Determine the direction of the pipeline layout according to the equipment inlet and outlet signs, and ensure that the water pipes are clean and free of impurities to prevent impurities from entering the water lines and causing blockage or water pump failure.

The inlet and outlet pipes are labeled and distinguished by color. The diameter of the pipe is 6*4mm. The transparent blue pipe is the high-temperature end outlet, and the transparent pipe is the high-temperature end return pipe. The diameter of the pipe is 12*8mm. The transparent blue pipe is the low￾temperature end outlet. It is transparent. The pipe is the low temperature end return pipe.

5. Plug in the power cord and turn on the power switch (it is strictly prohibited to start without water).

(1) After turning on the power switch, the chiller circulation pump starts to work. When a new machine is started for the first time, there will be a lot of bubbles in the pipeline, causing the machine to occasionally generate a flow alarm. It will return to normal after a few minutes of operation.

(2) After starting the machine for the first time, you must immediately check whether there is any leakage in the water pipes.

(3) After turning on the power, if the water temperature is lower than the set temperature, it is normal for the machine's fan and other components to not work. The thermostat will automatically control the working status of compressors, solenoid valves, fans and other devices based on the set control parameters.

6. Electrical connection.

(1) When wiring, please conduct wiring according to the maximum rated current on the label of the chiller.

(2) Recommended reference standards for power supply wire diameter selection.

Note: This data is provided in accordance with the IEC 60204-1 standard and is for reference only. The power cord must use a standard cable.

(3) The main circuit of the power supply must be equipped with appropriate leakage and overload protection devices, and ensure that the chiller is well grounded.

(4) The power supply voltage is allowed to fluctuate less than ±10%, the frequency fluctuation is less than ±1Hz, and it should be kept away from electromagnetic interference sources.

7. Add water to exhaust:

(1) Add water

After the new machine is started, the air in the water pipe is emptied, and the water level in the water tank will drop slightly. In order to keep the water level in the green zone, you can add an appropriate amount of water again. Observe and write down the current water level, and observe the water level gauge again after the chiller has been running for a period of time. If the water level drops significantly, check again for leaks in the water pipes.

Laser-rust-removal-machine-32.jpg

High level

Low level

(2) Exhaust

After adding water and replacing new water for the first time, drain the air from the water pump before starting it, otherwise the equipment will be damaged.

Method 1: With the machine turned off, add water, remove the low￾temperature water outlet (OUTLET L), connect it to the water pipe, drain it for 2 minutes, and then install it firmly.

Method 2: Open the water injection port, turn on the machine (water flows), and repeatedly press and fold the water pipe several times to drain the air inside the pipe.

8. Inspection before test.

(1) Check whether the pipeline connections are correct and there should be no bubbling or leaking;

(2) Check whether the drain outlet is closed;

(3) Check the water tank level;

(4) Confirm that the electrical wiring of the equipment is connected correctly;

(5) Confirm whether the equipment is grounded.

Note: The alarm output port is connected to a set of normally open and normally closed contacts of the relay inside the machine. The working current is required to be less than 3A and the working voltage is less than 300V.

7. Simple troubleshooting

Fault phenomenon

Cause of issue

Approach

No power on when turning on.

Th e pow er co rd h as po or contact.

Check the power interface and whether the power cord plug is plugged in properly and has good contact.

Fuse blown.

Replace the fuse in the power interface at the back of the machine.

Flow alarm, water pipe is directly connected to the water outlet, and there is no water flow at the water inlet.

The water level in the water tank is too low.

Check the water level gauge display window, add water to the green area of the water level display; and check the water circulation pipeline for leaks.

The flow rate alarm occurs when the equipment is connected. However, when water pipes are directly connected to the water outlet and water inlet, there is water flow and no alarm occurs.

The water circulation pipeline is blocked or the water pipe is bent and deformed.

Check water circulation pipeline.

Temperature upper limit alarm.

The dust filter is clogged and heat dissipation is poor.

Remove the dust filter and clean it regularly.

Poor ventilation at the air outlet or air inlet.

Ensure smooth ventilation at the air outlet and air inlet.

The voltage is seriously low or unstable.

Improve the power supply line or use a voltage stabilizer.

Improper thermostat parameter settings.

Reset control parameters or restore factory settings.

Cooling machine turns on and off frequently.

Ensure that the chiller has sufficient cooling time. (more than five minutes)

The heat load exceeds the standard.

Reduce heat load or choose a model with larger cooling capacity.

Condensate water condensation phenomenon is serious.

The water temperature is much lower than the ambient temperature and the humidity is high.

Increase water temperature or insulate pipes.

Drainage drains slowly when changing water.

The water injection port is not opened.

Open the water injection port.

Start-up traffic alarm.

There are bubbles in the pipe.

Perform emptying operation.

8. Maintenance

Equipment maintenance must be stopped first, cut off the power supply, and wait for 3 minutes before proceeding, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.

When the ambient temperature is lower than 2℃ and the machine is shut down for a long time, the internal water must be drained.

Regularly disassemble the dust filter, clean it and use a compressed air gun to blow away the dust accumulated on the condenser (it is recommended to take about a week, and the dust filter must not be missing for a long time).

Maintenance and replacement methods of related lenses:

Before operation, please clean and dry your hands, then wipe your hands again with cotton dipped in alcohol.

Open the protective lens and focusing lens compartment cover in a relatively dust￾free place, pull out the lens holder, protect it (cover it with masking paper), and check the protective lens. If there are obvious burning spots on the lens surface, replace it directly.

Then check the white power sealing ring under the lens. (If the power sealing ring is scratched or deformed, it cannot be used and must be replaced immediately.

Wipe the mouth of the compartment and the inside of the compartment cover with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol, quickly insert the protective mirror bracket into the protective mirror compartment, and tighten the screws.

Common exception handling:

Prompt laser/water cooler/air pressure alarm

If the above alarm occurs without using the alarm signal, please change the alarm level on the screen settings page.

If the above alarm occurs when an alarm signal is used, check whether the alarm of the corresponding device or the high and low levels of the alarm signal are set incorrectly. Screen does not light up/no response when clicking

The screen does not light up. Make sure the controller is powered on. Check whether the four-core wire between the controller and the screen is connected correctly, and whether the 24V voltage at pin 1 and pin 4 is normal.

If the click fails during normal use, check whether the temperature of the whole machine is too high.

If the click cannot be entered, check whether the four-core cable between the controller and the screen is connected correctly.

If the newly installed device does not respond to clicks, it may be that the system version does not match. You can use the SD card to re-flash the program.

No light

Check whether there is an alarm prompt on the homepage and whether the laser enable is ON;

During cleaning, check whether the trigger signal and safety lock signal on the monitoring page are displayed in green;

During cleaning, check whether the PWM, laser enable, and analog output on the monitoring page are normal.

If the above status is normal, please check whether the laser has any abnormal alarms.

For example: If the air is released and the wire is fed but no light is emitted, it means the laser is faulty or the laser wiring is wrong. If neither air is released nor wire is fed, the input signal may be missing.

Light output suddenly stops during processing

Check whether the safety lock and other alarms on the monitoring interface are normal.
